Fine Day to Open a Website…

I think all the bugs have been shaken out. As our astute Jessica has already noticed, I’m opening a website.

I’ve long wanted an online spot to build out, where I can post longer essays and experiment and expand my web skills. So, for $60 and plenty of help from Heston, here’s my online playground.

On a deeper level, and one I hope makes a difference for you: I also hope to post more thoughtful thoughts here, to hone my writing better rather than slap-and-dash it, to sweep my own spot for sharing laughter and ideas. I have not done that as well lately as I would like, so am consciously aiming higher this time. Please visit the about page for more, well, “about” that.

That page is a work in progress, as is the site and, of course, me; don’t be surprised if you come back one day and all the colors or layout have changed. Or disappeared because I clicked the wrong thing or forgot to add the closing “>.” I think I have, though, managed to transfer all my RSS subscribers and the entirety of posts and links from my previous Blogspot. Do let me know of any problems. If you’re not subscribed yet, try me for a little while. Or bookmark this and come back. Let me know what you think, and how I could improve.

Time to breeze away home to my happy little men (ok, man, since the other one is obviously unhappy here). Until next time.
